SEMI FINAL DAY IN LIMERICK
CMUL are beaten by Wexford 3-0 in semi-final today thursday.
CMUL were defeated in a physical semi final today by a very good and physically stronger wexford side. CMUL went 2-0 down in first half and with a number of players going off injured it was going to be a tough battle. The wexford no. 9 Eoin Porter scored a hatrick.
CMUL 2 v Kerry 1
CMUL beat fancied Kerry in the Bowl Qtr Final today in what was there best performance of the tournament so far. CMUL conceded first while they were down to 10 men with a player recieving attention and a goal scorer that looked offside. But after this there was only one team in it and when Tautvydas scored with a header the side lifted and created chance after chance after a succesion of corners with one minute of normal time left following a cross from a corner Tiernan O’Reilly rose highest to head into the roof of the net, The ref played 6 minutes extra time and CMUL were unlucky not to make it 3-1 when Aoran O’Reilly saw his excellent effort come back of the post. Well Done Lads Wexford in the Semi Final tomorrow.
