CMUL Summer Season 2016 Concludes

The curtain came down on the CMUL Summer season with a super weekend of soccer. First up was the U10 blitz that was held at Cavan Astro on Saturday afternoon. With 6 teams from 4 clubs took part in this mini blitz on 3 pitches, Ballyhaise Celtic, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan Shamrocks and Cavan Celtic. After 3 hours of football, all players received their medals and they were off then for a well deserved rest. A big thank you to all clubs, managers, coaches, players and parents, a great 3 months of matches. On behalf of the Cavan Monaghan Underage League committee well done to everybody.

Day 2 of this weekends blitz saw the U7’s, U8’s and U9’s teams came together at Ballyjamesduff for 4 hours of games yesterday. The teams Kingscourt Harps, Bailieboro Celtic, Ballyjamesduff, Cootehill Harps, Cavan Shamrocks, Ballyhaise Celtic and Cavan Celtic from 4 clubs took part in this mini blitz on 3 pitches, Ballyhaise Celtic, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan Shamrocks and Cavan Celtic. After the 4 hours of football, all teams got their medals and so the curtain comes down on a very successful Summer season for the CMUL. A big thank you to all clubs, managers, coaches, players and parents, a great 3 months of matches. On behalf of the Cavan Monaghan Underage League committee well done and thank you to everybody involved.
